A learning environment centered on loving care.
We partner with parents to create a supportive, responsive environment that meets your kindergartner where they are. We’ve built our program with the flexibility to give preschoolers the continuity they need while also creating space and support for kids who are stepping into their first school experience.
Care and support
Teachers are able to offer individualized attention to students because we keep our classes small with a 10:1 student-teacher ratio.
An active learning approach
Hands-on activities guide students to an age-appropriate understanding of core subjects as they explore phonics, guided reading, penmanship, math, and science.
A stimulating environment
From the playground to learning centers, our spaces are designed to be safe and encourage learning.
Modeling kindness
We hire teachers who inspire, love to be silly, and authentically live out the positive character traits we teach all of our students.
Our kindergarten program is located on our lower school campus, which features safe, age-appropriate outdoor play areas and a gymnasium where students enjoy play, organized games, and lessons outside.

Enriched Learning
Our kindergarten programs take an active learning approach and use hands-on activities to guide students to an age-appropriate understanding of core subject concepts. Utilizing Abeka curriculum, we focus on developing problem-solving and comprehension skills that will carry students into elementary school. Classes are kept small to promote a stimulating and fun learning environment where students can feel out their unique skills and talents.
At the kindergarten level, core subject areas include:

“Being a preschool teacher has been one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs. A love of crayons, glue, and finger paints is a must … play and creating is essential at this age. Your hope is to instill a love of learning and build a strong foundation that will carry them for years to come. Preschoolers need to feel safe and know they are cared for. We nurture social skills and learn how to interact in healthy ways with our classmates. I have always been (and will continue to be) impacted by each of the children I have taught. They amaze me with their perspective and how they see the world, through a lens of curiosity and wonder. I would not give up being a teacher for anything in the world.”
